The ASH committee works on the one and only American Studies magazine “The ASH.” They make sure that every three months there is a magazine that is well worth reading. The ASH (a.k.a. The American Studies Herald) is a magazine written by and for American Studies students. It appears four times a year and the sum is a great mixture of culture, politics, music, history, interviews, reviews, and EPU news. These essays are written not only by the editors, but by ‘regular’ American Studies students as well. Working for the ASH thus means writing, gathering, and editing work relevant to this issue’s theme. EPU members get the ASH for free the first three years. You can also subscribe to the ASH without being an EPU member; by becoming an EPU Companion you can get the ASH and get access to other EPU events! The ASH committee is always in search of new writers, so if you are interested in writing for it don’t hesitate to contact them via firstname.lastname@example.org.
